Special Olympics Unified Cornhole Registration

SPECIAL OLYMPICS UNIFIED CORNHOLE 

Special Olympics has changed the name from 'Bags' to 'Cornhole'. Unified Cornhole is strictly a Unified Sport where a Special Olympics Athlete is paired with a Unified Partner, which is someone who does not have disabilities, and the 2 of them compete as a team. A Unified Partner could be a family member, friend, or community member who is aged 8 and up. (Anyone aged 8-13 wanting to become a Unified Partner must be approved by Tina) All Unified Partners must complete a registration with Special Olympics, including a background check for those aged 18 and up, in order to participate. This sport is still in the pilot phase, meaning the Regional is an exhibition where participation ribbons will be given to all who participate and there will be no advancement to a State competition.
